Instructions for downloading, installing, and using the NGNTalk software with the KU2500 USB Phone.*
*Instructions are for the Windows XP operating system.
1. Go to www.ngntalk.net.

Locate the “Help” button in the blue toolbar at the top of the page and click on “Software Download” in the drop-down menu. You will be taken to a page that lists a variety of download options. 
3. Locate the “USB software, Model KU2500” heading and click on the “EXE document” tab.

A file download security warning will appear asking you what you would like to do. Select “Run” and downloading will begin.* *
NOTE: Windows 2000 users should select “Open” from the security warning screen, then follow the directions below.

When the download is complete, you will be asked to select an installer language. Select your language and click
“OK.”

A screen License Agreement screen will appear asking you to review the license terms of NGNTalk before installing the software. Please take a moment to review the agreement, and if you agree, click
“I Agree.”

Next you will be asked where you would like the software file to be stored on your computer. To select the default location, click “Install.” If you would like to specify another location, click on the “Browse.” Once you have selected a location, click
“Install.”

Installation will begin. You can monitor the progress by watching the green installation bar.

When installation is finished you will be asked to complete the set-up of your NGNTalk software by shutting down and restarting your computer. Select “Reboot now,” and then hit “Finish.” Wait while your computer shuts down and restarts itself.

When your computer has rebooted, connect your NGNTalk KU 2500 phone to your computer via a USB port. A “Found New Hardware” notice and icon should appear in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, and the The Found New Hardware Wizard will appear asking if you would like it to search for the most recently installed software. Select “No, not this time,” and click
“Next.”

When the Found New Hardware Wizard asks you what you would like to do, select “Install the software automatically (Recommended).” The computer will do an auto search, shown by a magnifying glass moving over a computer screen.

When a pop-up window appears, warning that the software you are installing for this hardware has not passed Windows Logo testing, click on “Continue Anyway.”

When the “Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard” screen appears, click on “Finish” to complete the installation.
